October is Respect Life Month! During October we reflect deeply on the dignity and sacredness of every human life from conception to natural death. The 2026 theme is "Mary, Mother of Life," focusing on the Blessed Mother as a model for respecting life in all circumstances.

This year, Life Chain for our Together in Christ Family of Parishes will be held at Nativity BVM. Please join the Respect Life Committee for a public, silent, prayerful, and peaceful stand for Life. Everyone is welcome to stand and pray with us for Respect Life Sunday on Sunday, October 4, from 11 AM until 12-Noon (following 10. AM Mass), in front of Nativity BVM Church, on Main St./Harris Hill.

Please join us and help build a culture that cherishes and protects the gift of human life!

👀 We spy some Together in Christ families! Back in August, The Catholic Parenting Initiative (CPI) hosted a Family Fun Day at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Youngstown.

Families took advantage of a bounce house, games, balloon art, scavenger hunts, live music, and delicious food, while also taking the time to engage in faith activities such as a family-focused rosary, adoration, confession, and an outdoor Mass. We can't wait until next year's CPI Family Fun Day!

Bulletin
This Sunday, September 20, is Catechetical Sunday. All catechists will receive a special blessing during all weekend Masses.

Thank you to the many catechists who serve our Together in Christ Family. May God our Father, the Father of Love, fill you with confidence and joy as you proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

A second collection will be taken at all weekend Masses to benefit all that the Catholic Education Office and our incredible Catechists do for our Church and Family of Parishes -- echoing the faith and helping all to encounter Jesus through many different ministries. Your financial support is an extra boost to all catechetical ministries, and we are so grateful for it. Thank you!

Bishop Mike and Mrs. Joleen Dimitroff, Superintendent of Catholic Elementary Schools, visited St. Mary School this week! They had the chance to visit classes, speak with students, and even participate in the daily "Rise and Shine" activity with all of the students in the gym.

The youngest students had some great questions for Bishop Mike. They asked about his favorite food, how he became a bishop, what a typical day looks like for him, and why he wears a Pectoral Cross!
